Olympus XA2 35mm film camera with detachable A11 flash. Both in working order.
Includes two brand new LR44 batteries, which I bought today (4.11.18) to check everything was OK.
A classic ‘point and shoot’ camera. Made in Japan. Simple to use with only three focus settings.
A 21st birthday present in December 1983 and showing some wear as it was well-used for 15 years, capturing some great photographic memories. Only stopped using it when I upgraded to a newer Olympus 35mm.
Olympus D-Zuiko lens. Maximum aperture f/3.5.
ASA settings from 25 up to 800.
Facility to attach camera to conventional, gorilla tripod etc.
Flash unit uses an AA battery (not included) and, although it seems a little slow to charge, it definitely works. ASA setting for flash either 100 or 400
Attaches to the camera using a plastic thumbscrew – missing a piece following an incident early on in its life (see photo)
