his auction is for an excellent Canon P populaire rangefinder, an after-market body cap, and a leather case. Speeds: B through 1/1000. Self-timer. Film counter. Nifty rolling-eye film detector! This Canon P is in great condition and works well. There are some signs of use, including rubs on the chrome; please examine the photographs carefully. You will notice a few small crinkles in the shutter curtain, but this is very typical for vintage Canon rangefinders.
I acquired this Canon P in order to try out rangefinders again, but my eyesight doesnt work well with them. As you can see, the viewfinder is quite clear, the rangefinder spot pretty bright, and the camera itself is solid. I cant guarantee the speeds are precisely accurate, but everything seems to work well. I attach a photograph of the Chateau-Thierry American monument that I took with this camera, with the Leitz Summitar that I have for sale in my other current auction. They worked great together!
I want my eBay customers to be happy. If you find the camera does not match this description in a significant way, I will accept a return for a refund, although I ask you to pay for the return postage. That said, I wont guarantee the accuracy of the rangefinder sent through the mail; its pretty well coordinated now, and its easy to correct if it falls out of kilter, but travel through the mail can throw them off.
I send cameras to wherever I can acquire a tracking number and insurance.
